We are proud to announce that Gaia Alam Recycle has successfully obtained the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification, awarded by Control Union Indonesia, covering the processing of unprocessed post-consumer PET materials into recycled PET flakes.
This achievement represents much more than a certification on paper. It is an independent verification of how we operate across several important aspects, including environmental responsibility, social compliance, chemical management, and supply chain traceability.
One of the most important aspects of GRS is its traceability requirements. Our certification verifies the flow of recycled materials throughout our operations, giving our customers greater confidence that our products originate from post-consumer PET bottles. This helps ensure transparency throughout the supply chain and supports the integrity of the circular economy.
What makes this achievement even more meaningful is the timing. Obtaining GRS certification almost exactly one year after commencing operations is a milestone we’re particularly proud of. As a newcomer to the industry, we have never intended to simply test the waters. From the beginning, we have invested in building the right systems, processes, and standards to become a serious and reliable player in the global rPET market.
